Quantum Dice is proud to have signed the Equinox Charter, an initiative led by the University of Oxford to strengthen collaboration across research, industry and government.
Equinox (Equitable Innovation Oxford) brings together researchers, businesses and communities to accelerate innovation and drive inclusive growth across Oxfordshire, further cementing the region’s standing as a globally recognised centre of scientific and technological excellence.
The announcement follows Oxford Tech Week, where Quantum Dice’s Chief of Staff, James Fok, attended a Scaling Business in the UK working lunch hosted by Equinox and the University of Oxford’s Pro‑Vice‑Chancellor for Innovation.
George Dunlop, Director of Partnerships and Co-founder at Quantum Dice, said:
“The Equinox Charter reflects a bold ambition to strengthen Oxfordshire’s position as a global centre for science and technology. We’re proud to be part of this ecosystem and committed to scaling here – working alongside partners to translate world‑class research into technologies that address some of society’s hardest challenges.”
James Fok, Chief of Staff at Quantum Dice, added:
“As an Oxford University spinout with global ambition, Quantum Dice sees Equinox and its partners as integral to our success. The recent working lunch brought together universities, investors and HM Treasury to drive tangible, actionable steps towards financing and scaling deep tech businesses. That kind of coordinated effort is exactly what is needed to build global champions while seeding a new generation of founders, who in turn go on to become investors and back the next wave of innovation.”
